I guess I am one of "you people" cause I don't wear a poppy. The GD things don't stay on, I just drop money in the bucket and walk away.

As for his comments, people of his generation are, for the most part, all like that. They were brought up that way. In there 70s, 80s, & 90s you're not going to change them.

I have an uncle (in law) that is 70 and talks the same way. I really like him, he's a smart man, he knows a lot of stuff and when he talks like that I challenge him on it. I tell him how he's wrong and he gets it at the moment but still talks that way. He's not going to change and I don't hold it against him, he's a product of his enviroment, he was raised that way. Do I think he's a racist? No. Does he have some racist ideas? Yes, a lot of people do though.

So sometimes I am a warrior and say something and sometimes I am Ron McLean and sit and listen.
