Big fan of Johnny, however I have said from the start that his mental preparation and in game resetting is a huge challenge for him. He seems to be frustrated more often than not.

I don’t believe he has been mentally/ physically committed to paying the price in the last 3 months of last season( including playoffs) and the start of this season.

Confidence is a result of doing the little things right over and over.

His early career mental and physical courage has dissipated substantially.

Yes, he looks scared out there.

The frustration and negative energy he displays is the tell tale sign of a weak player.

It’s up to him to become a better competitor.

Patrick Kane has been successful at it. Why not Johnny?
