Has anyone else noticed how
dominant he's been in the faceoff circle this year?

Among all positions, minimum 200 faceoffs taken:
- 4th in the NHL in overall FOW% at 57.1% (career avg is only 50.2%)
- 61.5% defensive zone
- 70W-56L when the team is behind
- 94W-63L when the score is close
There was mention earlier in the season that he had told the team he was going to work on being a more complete player in the offseason...
Results:
- Ridiculously better at faceoffs
- Playing bigger and meaner
- In spite of playing more physical, still doesn't take penalties
- Has 16 points in 19 games, while "slumping"
At only 25 years old, the evolution of #1C Sean Monahan is not even close to being complete.
