Real mixed emotions here. Want to fault the Fury for pretending they are better than CanPL and it’s clubs.
At the same time, the CSA and CanPL have don’t inspire a ton of confidence right now. Starting to feel questionable whether CanPL has any aspirations beyond being Bob Young’s toy and a youth development springboard to attempt to avoid embarrassment in 2026. I’d like to be wrong, but I can see why OSEG might not want to play ball.

I am as bitter about the result as anyone, but besides from a wonky spring fall split and a lame trophy has the league been bad? Attendance seems fine, quality of competition seems fine, parity could use work and more teams would be nice.
It has to be that OSEG wanted special treatment ie break and make rules and got none. Maybe that is Bob Young's fault but I don't think the league is 'unfair'.
