My first thought is the same as Iowa's, don't tighten the skates too tight over the arch of your foot. Go to town around the ankles but if you feel your feet getting cold while you are playing it usually means you're skates are way too tight around the arch. I guess there is a vein there.

If that's not the problem then try some new inserts. The inserts that came with my first pair of skates were so crappy and unsupportive that my feet ached for days after a game. I changed them up and the difference was like night and day
