My skates were only $100, RBK 3k's and I love them. I actually put them in the oven to warm up the material, and took them out, put em on, tightened them up and kept them on in my feet for 10 minutes.

Then I baked them again, tied them up as tight as possible (Without my feet in them this time) and left them overnight.

The results blew me away, it's like i've been skating in them for years.

By the sounds of it though, you may be tying them to tight around the arch of your foot, I like it somewhat loose there but tight around my ankles.

Disclaimer, I am not buying you new skates if this doesn't work!!

If you want to try to bake them, heat your oven to 150 F put them on a baking sheet for a good 10 minutes and do the two steps I mentioned above.
