Ovi has a good chance of jumping up to #7 by the end of the year. He's on pace for 64 goals and even if he only gets another 40 the rest of the year (for 51) he would be #7 overall.
He will at least attain #3, barring any injuries, by the end of next year. After that will he score more goals in the NHL? Depends if he wants to keep playing in the NHL as his contract expires after next year.
