Cap is anything performance related. Driver salaries, marketing etc are excluded. Haven’t read enough to know where engineers at the factory are included. Do they have to be working on the car to count? What if they analyze strategy data?
I believe $175m USD is about in line with what a team like Renault currently spends. I think they’re rumoured to be just above $200m but they’re also a manufacturer so I’m not sure how that will be dealt with vs customer teams.
