This post is ridiculous. First of all, we’re very lucky we have ownership that will allow this team to spend to the cap and will approve buyouts. Secondly, everyone wants a flashy new arena but nobody wants to pay for it. Give me a break. I don’t blame ownership for wanting some help. I have no issues with helping fund that arena. Anyone who thinks this is just a building for millionaires to play hockey in has a very short sighted and narrow minded view of it. Third, from what I understand the owners do not meddle much. Sure they have a say in things but compared to the loon up north or that clown in Carolina we could be worse off.
The Flames have a lot of problems. Ownership is not one of them.
