I guess one place I'd consider relatively hidden is Stromboli Inn. I do like being able to stroll up and sit down to my favorite pizza anytime (except for their excessively long winter break shutdowns), but at the same time a bit more traffic would make me feel better about them sticking around for the long haul.
oh and Begim (Uzbeki on international ave), same thing. nice to have an easy table but they deserve more customers for sure.
edit: one more, Katsuten for...katsu. they seem to have fairly steady patrons so maybe not too secret, but not yet at the point where showing up without a reso is utterly futile. very addictive crunchy stuff.

Nicely done for coming up with Begim. Not many say "Oooo, I'm craving some Uzbeki cuisine today". We tried it once and loved it. But, wow, it was a "heavy" meal. Couldn't do it too regularly.
