The Coyotes came back from a 2-0 deficit to win it in the SO as they out shot the Sabres 44-26. Hutton was the reason Buffalo gets a point. It was welcome back night for Phil Housley. There was a video tribute for him as he is now an assistant coach with the Coyotes.

The Canucks scored 5 goals in the first period. The Panthers looked tired as they are in the midst of a western conf road trip and lose in reg time for the first time in 9 games. Montembault let in the first 3 goals before Bobrovsky let in 2 more. Montembault came back to start the 2nd period. All 12 forwards for the Canucks recorded a point. Edler and Pettersson each had 3 assists.
