Your best bet is to take the nose creek path until it reaches the 32nd ave connector. Then you'd need to take 32nd to 12th and reach the pathway that is over by 12th that Bigtime referenced. You'd be going really out of your way, but it would be safer. My bigger concern is that riding on 32nd or 12th could be pretty gross in the winter with cars and rutted snow pack.

Yup, if you do take 12th street north to get to that McKnight pathway you can turn off 12th street at 44th avenue to save yourself some stress and connect to the pathway that way.
