Unpopular opinion. I do not think Travis Hamonic is a good hockey player. He is awful at breaking out of the defensive zone and routinely turns the puck over. He does play tough and is willing to sacrifice his body, but he does not defend very well. Promising plays die on his stick as he might be the worst puck handler on the team. Don't get me wrong, I like his grit, but he is the first dman I would like to see the flames consider trading.
