Because it's amazing. I travel a lot for business, so I do need to carry a capable laptop. I have 5 of them, from 13" to 17". They are all relatively heavy for travel, but manageable. I also do a lot of photography and for a while I was thinking of buying one of those hard drives with card slots to dump files to in the field, when the cards become full. Carrying a normal laptop is not an option. For a bit more money, I bought a 12" Retina MacBook, which, again, is an amazing piece of machinery for all of the technical specs I've already listed. I didn't realize how small, compact and lightweight it was until I tried it. So, I am happy with this laptop. I just want to find a way to manage the accessories a little better.
