There’s a reason Calgary is consistently listed among those teams, and yes, also among Edmonton and Winnipeg, on almost every player’s no-trade list. When you have the option of playing and living in virtually any major US city, or hell, even Vancouver, Montreal, or Toronto, a podunk cowboy town like Calgary stuck in the middle of nowhere does not measure up. There is nothing here for you if you’re not in the energy business.
