I agree with the commentator who said that the conservatives hit buttons that prevent people from taking them seriously as a party.
I don't take them seriously as an option at all because of climate.
Not really my hot button issues but, I could very easily see people having similar opinions due to social policy or anti-labour economic rhetoric.
So when there are two potential governing parties and you don't take one seriously this is where you end up.
