They own the Comets, don't they? They bought the Peoria Rivermen in 2013 and relocated them to Utica after negotiations with the City of Abbotsford fell apart because they wanted the same sweetheart deal from the City that the Heat had been given.
Wikipedia says they lease the team to Robert Esche, but they're still the owners:
