The Minnesota Wild are pleased to announce the acquisitions of Daymond Langkow and Jack MF Johnson.

Johnson and Langkow arrive via a trade with the Panthers that sees Scotty Gomez and prospect Taylor Chorney head the other way.

GM Farhall commented.

"Daymond is a tremendous all around player that will centre our 2nd line, and excel there. But we also add one of the very best blueline prospects to come along in a very long time with JMFJ and a guy that we think is VERY close".
