The NHLPA players and league are very much an 'OBC' when it comes to giving players (and other league staff) continual positions within the league. Must be nice being a player like Stewart who seems to no longer be good enough for the league, only to be invited back and sign a contract that while probably league minimum, is more then lucrative for the rest of us working minions.
By all accounts he's a good guy too, so I can't really fault him for signing with the Flyers at that price.
