There’s a quite large sample size on Bennett that says he is a serviceable, at best, 3rd line player who goes through stretches of being below replacement level but also the occasional stretch of being a PPG player. Point being he isn’t that good and absolutely should have been traded at least two years ago when he still had value. Of course here anyone who even dared to mention that got absolutely pillared. Also, the Canes made it to the ECF last year so don’t know why you’re listing them with two of the worst teams in the league. Actually I do know why but I’ll keep that to myself
