Brushing snow off your knees every shift, especially on the second line, is not going to work very well to generate the chances needed with a guy like Tkachuk on the other wing. They need 5 guys upright otherwise they don’t have much of a chance to do anything on that shift.
He either can’t play that exact style in the NHL, or, needs to get bigger and stronger.

His poor penalty was everything imo.
It was an absolutely terrible penalty that set the tone for the game.
