The new rules are not a surprise after SJ won a Game 7 off a blown 5 minute major call and then a 3rd Round OT off a blown hand pass. Didn't Columbus also score a goal vs Boston after the puck hit the netting?
If they can curtail the weak borderline calls while ensuring some plays get reviewed that should (missed hand passes, highsticks, pucks in the netting), I'm all for it.
