Seems like I have a different opinion on Brodie than most people here. He didn't have a bad game and made some clutch plays tonight. That being said he is a complete rogue out there and I have no idea iow anyone can play on the other side of the ice with him. He is completely unpredictable and unreliable as a defense partner, you never know where he will be on any given play. He made a norris trophy defenseman play second fiddle because he was so fixated on chasing the play.
When the flames needed a goal, he was on the bench in favor of Andresson, but asking him to take Anderssons role on the third pairing would be a disaster trying to develop kylington or anyone else. He made Hamonic look terrible.
His risk/reward jsit doesnt add up.
