Over the entirety of his career up to this point I think Bennett has shown to be most effective playing 10-12 minutes a game.
Emotion, 'jam', skating, decision making, I think area all factors in keeping his minutes reduced for maximum effectiveness.
I think playing him up the lineup disrupts other lines.
I'm specifically saying he's not a negative factor in that loss to Colorado, I just think he plays better when his minutes are reduced and that has a positive impact on the rest of the team.
