The problem with Gaudreau isn’t his defensive play. It’s his decisions with the puck. Stickhandling himself into the corner and losing it. Risky passes. Giveaways at the offensive blue line when blueliners are pinching.
Gaudreau is magical but he makes a lot of really bad decisions.
