Flames should be daring and make Brodie a forward. His skating and passing are suited for a Tanguay like playmaker. His defensive skill is limited and he always looks like a forward playing defence to me. I’m surprised other than Engelland with Pitt, other guys haven’t been at least tried when you have the depth at a position to at least explore it.
Not confident Monahan can be durable enough to be valuable at the end of the long season and into the playoffs. He seems beat up at the end of every year and he plays through it but his performance suffers.
Fans obsessing about advanced stats over actually watching games is odd and lame.
