I have two unpopular opinions about the Flames:

First, I thought Jay Feaster did a decent job as GM. He is directly responsible for most of the current core and I feel like he takes too much blame for poor returns on Iginla and Regehr (I think that rests primarily with ownership and the players themselves).

I don't see this team winning with Backlund as the second line centre. I would try Lindholm and/or Bennett there and bump Baclund and Frolik to the third line.
