Yes, an upgrade would be great, but adding a player of even equal caliber to Backlund is no small feat. If you are expecting something better, you are going to be disappointed.

To be fair though, the two seasons previous Kadri put up 32 goals in both and 55 and 61 points. Backlund has never had offensive output that high.
Nobody wants to replace Backlund, we just want to provide him better support and take off some offensive pressure from him
