There's a set of wires that run off your solenoid (sp?) that if you put a relay switch through you can disable your car. I used to do it with all the landcruisers and 4 runners I drove years back. It's pretty simple to do: locate your solenoid, find the power wire running through it (usually red) cut it, and run a wire from it through your firewall to a toggle switch hidden somewhere under your dash, then back to the original solenoid wire to complete your circuit.
Just be sure to tell the person you sell your car to what you did: if they accidentally bump the switch the car will turn over but not start.
