I think Treliving had an iffy summer, but overall he has been a GM and I think he is improving on a year-to-year basis.
There is value in having continuity in the General Manager position. There's more consistency in how the players are drafted and developed.
The longest tenured GMs in the league are in Nashville, San Jose, Anaheim, Chicago, and St. Louis.
Those have basically been the most consistent teams in the west.
