Considering that Treliving did try to trade for Kadri, I think there's a good chance he still thinks some changes need to be made, and might pursue them during the season.
That said, with almost every team being so tight against the cap, making any trades is going to be possibly harder than it has ever been. It would not surprise me if we hit some new low in the number of trades made.
Besides, I think you have to start weighing the benefits of keeping the gang together for the sake of chemistry. It's a pretty rare situation for a team to have an emotional rollercoaster like the Flames had last season, and then come back next season with almost exactly the same group. It might not have been the plan, but since we're here, maybe we should roll with it. That could turn into an intangible that might not be worth risking, at least not before you give the gang their second chance.
Or not. Who knows.
