The "oiler stink" certainly is weird, and getting weirder. I can only think that people who have spent years/lives in pro hockey know more about certain people than I do. Couple this with plans which we don't know about - imagine a situation where Jankowski gets traded (he was part of the deal for Zucker, right?). That would leave the PK short of a real useful piece. So a guy to replace that standing by .... isn't crazy.
So I'll let this ride, see where it goes. Doesn't strike me as super important because with the exception of Talbot, we are talking peripheral pieces, and as mentioned earlier in the thread, Flames can use them in peripheral spots where the oilers have to put guys in top-tier positions because their depth is so poor.
