There are so many stories that could be told, for a huge galaxy the stories have been on a relatively small scale and completely focused on what we could generously call the force wars between the Dark and the Light.
Its kind of why I really liked Rogue 1, no real involvement of the Jedi and the Sith at least til the end, when we saw how much more powerful Force Users were then regular people. I even liked Solo because it had no Jedi or Sith, and it was a story of ordinary people in an extra ordinary situation.
I would really like to see the end of this trilogy being a put to rest of the Dark and Light Side of the Force for a while. There are more stories to be told, both in the past and in the future.
Lets face it, in a GFFA the Wars are all on a theological level, its all about the battles between the Dark Side of the Force and the Light Side and it drags ordinary people into it like a sausage machine sucking in meat.
What would the GFFA look like if at the end of the current Trilogy there are no Force Users? That's a story in itself.
If they want to do Force users, maybe do a trilogy of Films based in the Old Republic.
