Probably not, China is already (by far):
-#1 in building and installing solar panels
-#1 in building and installing wind turbines
-#1 in building nuclear power
-#1 in building hydro
-#1 in building li-ion batteries
The primary things in Energy that China wants to buy are oil and natural gas. It'll also be more than happy to sell you solar panels, wind turbines, batteries or help you build modern new power plants.
