The last two seasons in all situations:
Goals/60
Point: 1.41
Boeser: 1.37
Tkachuk: 1.35
Draisaitl: 1.34
Konecny: 1.17
Aho: 1.16
Marner: 0.97
Points/60
Marner: 3.29
Draisaitl: 3.13
Point: 3.05
Tkachuk: 2.93
Aho: 2.91
Boeser:2.77
Konecny: 2.34
So that's the comparable grouping.
Marner: 6 years @ $10.9M
Aho: 5 years @ $8.5M
Draisaitl: 6 years @ $8.5M remaining
Point: 3 years @ $6.75M
Boeser: 3 years @ $5.875M
Konecny: 6 years @ $5.5M

So they have a pretty robust group of comparable players for Tkachuk now.
For the first 3 years of a Tkachuk contract you have Boeser and Point really setting that market now and Tkachuk should fall some where in the middle there.
Based on the market value his value is probably around $6.5M over the first 3 years, since he should be higher than Boeser but cheaper than Point: Something like:
Year 1: $5.5M
Year 2: $5.5M
Year 3: $8.5M
Then if you want to get to a 6 year deal you can add on extra years.
Year 4: $8.5M (qualifying offer from year 3)
Year 5: $10.5M (UFA premium)
Year 6: $10.5M (UFA premium)
Honestly I see two frameworks that should work for a contract at this point:
3 Year Deal: 3 years @ $6.5 AAV ( $19.5M total)
or
6 year deal: 6 years at $8.2M AAV ($49M total)
But honestly it probably has to be a 3 year deal just because Toronto overpayed so heavily on the Marner contract that the comparable for 6 year deals are out of wack.
