Did anyone hear Corey Sarich on SN 960 just now talking about the Tkachuk situation? It was just him throwing out his own thoughts, but he helped explain why TC is so important, and how difficult it is to get back up to game speed without it.
I am at the point now where I think regardless of how this turns out, this is going to be a disappointing year from #19. How does that affect negotiations as the stalemate continues?
(BTW, Sarich has become a terrific analyst/commentator. I am always really impressed with him whenever I see/hear him on TV or the radio.)

Gadreau had a relative down year during his stalled negotiation and I strongly believe that Jagr didn't work out because of his lack of a training camp.
You need training camp to get up to speed and build rapport with your teammates and to also get your body fit to prevent injuries.
