In reality at this point the Flames can fit in Tkachuk at $8.5M cap hit just by moving Czarnik out.

Gaudreau - Monahan - Lindholm
Tkachuk ($8.5M) - Backlund - Frolik
Lucic - Ryan - Bennett
Mangiapane - Janko - Reider or DSP ($700k)

Gio -Brodie
Hanifin - Hamonic
Kylington - Andersson
Stone

That would leave the Flames with $800k of cap space by putting Valimaki on LTIR. And under that scenario Dube probably spends a lot of time commuting because they can fit him in as a call up with that cap space but would save $$$ for every day he's not on the roster - and he's waiver exempt.

If they could get Tkachuk at $8.25 that would be perfect. They would be able to keep Dube on the roster full time, have a 22 man roster, and still have $270k of cap space.
