No kidding...you can say "he came down from his ask just meet him in the middle" but his ask was ridiculous.

If he was asking for 10M and them came down 8M that doesn't mean its a good deal. I'm not even 100% sure he is in the lineup every night with DSP, Dube, potentially others. I will be rooting for the guy but he has gotten some terrible advice.

All I can say is he better sign fast and have a heck of a year...mediocre play will have him riding the bus in the AHL

He should give Joe Colborne a call...scored 19 and thought he was all that, one year later out of the league completely
