How could it not be a bridge deal at this point? The Flames don’t have the cap space for a long term contract, and if they can somehow offload Frolik (which may or may not be possible at his full cap hit) then they leave a huge hole at RW after Lindholm.
I’m going to assume it’s a 1 or 2 year deal being talked about, somewhere close to the Gio cap.
