If EVERYONE in the world earned 70k per year, I feel like the economy would collapse. It would be a dystopian society. You would be making more than everyone but life would suck, wouldn't it? Right now the world GDP per capita is $17k.
I'd choose the second option unless it meant that EVERYONE earned $200k since that would cause the same problem as the first option.
