I agree the number of bank errors is quite surprising. In the early 2000’s i was going to purchase an ATV for $2500 and I went to the bank to get a draft. I had maybe 3000 in the account, anyways they gave me a draft for $25000. I was driving to pick up when I noticed (same day though) I can’t believe that there wasn’t some kind of alert when that happened.

I also recently transferred about 10,000 from one account to another and it took nearly 1 month for it to come out of my account. It was very odd.
