No point in hating on the owners, the GM, the agent or the player. It's a process that every player goes through. Agents job is to maximize his client's salary, GMs job is to save dollars every where he can.

It's pretty frustrating as a fan though. The Flames have a limited window here to contend, and it's starting to look like they may be missing Tkachuk and Mangiapane because of contract disputes. They combined for 42 goals last season and are 22 or younger with room to grow still.
So yeah, as a fan who wants this team to do well, get those F-ing contracts signed already FFS.
