I suppose it only makes sense for a coach to build up his new acquisition and offer opportunity versus outright stating Lucic will be a bottom 6 before he even skates with his new team. Keep it positive type thing.
In reality, watching Lucic try and keep up reminds me of that old ‘Ice Hockey’ game for Nintendo where the skinny minnies zip around the stationary fat guys who aren’t mobile but are tough to knock off the puck when they finally get possession.
