Tampa management is pleased to annouce that Adrian Aucoin and 450 million pennies are on their way to the Lightning in exchange for underachieving youngster Marcel Goc, NYR 1 2007, PHX 3 2007 and prospect Shawn Matthias.

We have been searching for a couple months now for another front line dman who can play the kind of minutes that Spacek has been providing.

The deal leaves Tampa with a logjam at defense now. Look for a blue liner to be heading out of town soon.
