I get that he did a lot of great things for the Flames and in the minds of many that he's earned it. I have great respect for what he's done after his career and how he is using his trauma to help others. Takes a great and courageous person to rise above what happened to him.
However I just can't shake that lasting image of Theo trashing the Flames organization after Sutter was gracious in giving him a tryout. That in part is why I voted Nilsson
It's personal for everyone here and I'm glad we're allowed to have an opinion on the subject
