I don't support a carbon tax simply because it just isn't going to do anything unless it's something that is global and even still it makes a tiny dent. Having a plan that doesn't do much is no different than having no plan - or in some causes like the Green New Deal which would destroy the american economy and cause massive civil unrest, you may as well just let climate change cause that.
