- Love top-golf, but it doesn't really make sense at the stampede grounds. That would be a really interesting use for the area around Max Bell/ Firestone park though, with a great view of downtown and the mountains to take in while you get plastered.

- Turning the Saddledome into a waterpark is, frankly, unimaginable. Living in Edmonton, the water park only gets used by tourists and kids... but I have always felt it was something calgary was really missing.

- Having a new stadium in the same entertainment district is attractive without considering the money side. I agree with what someone said earlier though, a stadium could work on the transit barn site but not the saddledome site.

- The velodrome in Montreal got turned into the biosphere, which I thought was pretty cool repurposing. Not sure what the economic case is there, and our fantastic zoo is already nearby so it probably wouldn't be worthwhile.

I think destroying it and replacing it with some sort of outdoor amphitheatre that could be used as the coke stage during stampede, and then also used for festivals during the spring-fall months (perhaps in place of the fort calgary site) is an excellent potential use.
