I was mostly joking. I do think VVD is overrated (I mean the fact he was alongside Ronaldo and Messi is just laughable to me), but I'm obviously completely biased. At the same time though, you can't really argue with results. They spent what seemed like an insane amount of money on those two, but it worked. So while it jacked up prices (sort of), who cares? One year like they just had more than pays for it and so financially it just makes sense.

And really, just because one Spurs fan here thinks that VVD is overrated, what does it even matter. He probably made them piles of cash this year, so it is what it is.
