If you're a human being who purports to care as much about human suffering everywhere as you do human suffering in your backyard, sure. If you're in charge of making domestic policy in Canada or the United States or Britain or France, you have a limited pie of time to divvy up between your responsibilities, and at this point, you'd probably be wise to spend far less of your time on the threat posed by Islamic terrorists than, say, five years ago.
As ISIS has faded away into more or less total collapse, there have been fewer and fewer attacks in the west perpetrated by individuals who are killing people in the name of Islam. Obviously we don't want that trend to reverse itself and steps should be taken to try to ensure that it doesn't, but it's certainly on the downswing. There's a good case to be made that future attacks by jihadis are more likely to come from Eastern Europeans than from the Middle East, so that's probably worth keeping an eye on, although you'd think it'd be less likely to affect North America than Europe.
