However, that inverted bowl could make for the best seats in any NHL house. My biggest fear with a new arena (haven't seen Detroit's new digs yet) was what I saw in Edmonton. I was miles away from the ice, and we didn't have too bad of seats in the lower bowl. A fancy building with worse & more expensive seats isn't a good recipe.

The inverted bowl has me quite excited. It would make Calgary one of the loudest buildings in the league because the cheering would be right on-top of the ice. It could be something absolutely unique, and absolutely incredible.
